Latest Wave

Team pictures from Lifetouch have arrived.  They are now located in the lifeguard room at the pool.  Also available at the pool are ribbons and medals for those swimmers who were not able to attend our end of season party.  Thank you all again for such a fun season!  We look forward to seeing you all next year!

This afternoon we will host and swim our final meet of the 09 season.  The weather is on the cool side but no storms are in the forecast so the meet will go on.  Swimmers, please be at the pool at 3:45 with your caps, goggles, t-shirts (probably sweat shirts too) and a sharpie marker.  Warm-ups begin at 4:00.  Volunteers, please check in with Katie Baker by 4:30.  

A HUGE thanks to all of you parents who committed to helping out on Thursday for our make-up meet with Brookshire.  Scheduling these meets can be complicated when people have not planned to work or have already worked their required meets, so Thank You!  We have enough swimmers and volunteers to swim this meet.

On Thursday, July 9th we are scheduled to swim our make-up meet against Brookshire at home.  All swimmers intending to swim this meet MUST be signed up no later than 6:00 PM on Monday July 6th.  There will be NO EXCEPTIONS on this deadline as we must notify Brookshire of our intention that evening.  Additionally, we need volunteers in order to run this meet.  Because this was not an originally scheduled meet, we are asking all parents who have swimmers participating in the meet to work the meet.  There will be a separate volunteer sign-up sheet in the notebook at the pool or you can contact Katie Baker or Anne Nichols directly.  In the event we do not have enough swimmers OR volunteers, we will cancel the meet.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Due to extremely low attendance this week, we will be combining age group practice sessions this evening, July 1st.  We will run one practice session for all swim team members,  beginning at 6:00pm through 7:00pm.  This will still be a fun game night practice, just with all teammates together.  See you at the pool!
