Last Practice and End of Season Party

It's hard to believe but our 2010 season is coming to an end. Tonight, July 1st, will be our last practice of the season. We have only one practice time scheduled tonight for all age groups from 6-7pm. Come join in on one last fun practice of the season.

With the end of the season nearing that means it's time to start thinking about the end of season party. The party will be on Friday, July 9th at 6:00pm. We'll provide dinner for the entire family as well as play games and distribute awards. This is always a great time for the entire family and a fun way to celebrate the season. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the pool next week so please make sure to stop by and sign-up. We hope to see you all there!

Lastly, please, make sure you have signed your swimmers up for the last meet, next Tuesday against the Villages of West Clay. Indicating either way in the blue sign-up book helps tremendously when creating the swimmer line-up. This last meet is ALWAYS a great time and promises to include some "extra" fun activities. See you at the pool!

Sign Up deadline for July 6th Swim Meet

It's been a great season so far and we are definitely on the home stretch. The upcoming week is unique because we have no scheduled swim meets. We do however have our last swim meet scheduled for Tuesday, July 6th. It is imperative that all swimmers are signed up no later than Wednesday, June 30th for this meet. Parents, even if your swimmers are not able to swim, please indicate so in our blue notebook located at the pool. This makes scheduling the meet line-up so much easier and alleviates game day changes. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this.

Practices will resume as scheduled this week with the exception of Friday morning's practice. Due to the holiday, there will be NO PRACTICES on Friday, July 2nd or Monday July 5th. On Thursday, July 1st, we will have ONE evening practice from 6-7pm including all age groups.

Have a great holiday! We'll see you at the pool!

Breakfast Cereal Practice!!

Wow! Waves swimming was at it's best tonight! Great job swimmers! Thank you to our 9-10 boys who stepped up tonight and swam 50 yard events to help our team. That is truly team spirit!!

In celebration of a great meet, we will be having another breakfast cereal practice in the morning. Families, please bring one box of your favorite cereal to practice. We will provide milk, bowls and spoons. After each age group practice we'll enjoy breakfast and ribbons with the group.

Again swimmers, great job tonight! And to all of you parents who volunteered, thank you! We couldn't do any of this without you!
